 Founded in 1992, the Saint-Petersburg Currency Exchange (SPCEX) is now one of the leading regional exchanges of Russia.

SPCEX involves financial market participants practically from all regions of the Russian Federation. The trading participants represent over 60 cities, including St.Petersburg, Moscow, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen and others.

  • The Bank of Russia License ╣VB-02/92 dated July 23, 1992 for organizing operations in buying and selling foreign currency for rubles and carrying out settlements on transactions;
  • The FCSM of Russia License ╣078-06050-000001 dated June 7, 2002 for carrying out activity on organizing trade at securities market;
  • The FCSM of Russia License ╣078-06049-000010 dated June 7, 2002 for carrying out clearing activity;
  • The Commission on Commodity exchanges under the Ministry of Antimonopoly Policy of Russia License ╣101 of December 16, 1999 for organizing exchange trade in commodities: standard contracts;
    ╣101 (Supplement) of June 23, 2000 for organizing exchange trade in the following sections: power, ferrous metals and alloys, precious metals, construction materials, timber and timber materials, agricultural production, pharmaceuticals,

SPCEX provides clearing services for its trading participants.

SPCEX uses the in-house designed software for trading, clearing, settlement, and for technical access to the trading system by participants, including trading via Internet.

Activity concerning the information security is carried out by SPCEX on the basis of the licenses of FAGCI ╣╣ LF/07-1271, LF/07-1272, LF/07-1273 of July 14, 2000.
